Questions about cyber crime investigation
What should I do right now if I've lost money online?
Call 1930, the national cyber crime helpline, and report on cybercrime.gov.in as quickly as possible. Then keep every message and transaction record. We can help with the rest.
Can you hack back or unmask an anonymous account?
We do not hack. Identifying account holders ultimately requires legal requests to platforms, which the police can make. Our job is to build the evidence that makes that possible.
Is my case kept confidential?
Yes. Your identity, the details you share and our findings are kept private and are released only to you or to whomever you direct in writing.
