Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about how we work, what it costs and what we can and cannot do.
Is it legal to hire a private detective in India?
Yes. Hiring a private investigator is legal in India. Investigators must, however, work within the law: no phone tapping, no hacking into accounts, and no trespass. All our work follows that line.
Is my case kept confidential?
Yes. Your identity, the details you share and our findings are kept private and are released only to you or to whomever you direct in writing.
How much does an investigation or forensic examination cost?
It depends on the work: the number of documents, the locations involved, the days of surveillance and so on. After a short consultation we give you a clear quote before any work begins.
Are your forensic reports accepted in court?
Our expert opinions are prepared for filing with courts and include the reasons and materials behind each conclusion. As with any expert evidence, the court decides how much weight to give it.
Can I send documents without visiting?
For a preliminary view, yes: send clear scans or photos on WhatsApp or email. For a final opinion, the examiner will usually need the original documents.
How do I start?
Call or WhatsApp 98183 05324, or send an enquiry through the contact page. Tell us briefly what happened and we will explain the options.
How long does a forensic examination take?
Simple signature or fingerprint comparisons are often completed within a week once all samples are available. Digital, audio-video and multi-document matters can take longer; we will give you a timeline with the quote.
Do you work outside your home city?
Tell us where the case is. Documents can be sent for preliminary review, and we will confirm how field work in your location can be covered before you commit.
Will your expert appear in court?
Yes. Where our expert has given an opinion, they can appear to depose on it when summoned.
What information should I have ready when I call?
A short account of what happened, the documents or devices involved, any deadlines such as a hearing date, and what you want to achieve.
