Morphed photographs are now used for blackmail, defamation and fraud, and AI tools make them easier to produce. We examine images for signs of manipulation and trace what can be established about their source.
What we do
- Detection of cloning, splicing, retouching and morphing
- Assessment of AI-generated and deepfake images
- EXIF and metadata analysis: device, date, software used
- Error level and compression analysis
- Reverse search to find earlier versions of an image
- Authentication of photographs produced as evidence
When clients come to us
- A morphed or obscene image of you or a family member is circulating
- Photos submitted in an insurance or property claim look doctored
- You need to prove your photograph is original
- An image is being used to defame a person or a business
How it works
What you receive
An examination report with marked-up images showing areas of concern and the technical basis for the findings, which can support a police complaint or court case.
Questions about photo & image forensics
Should I delete the morphed image?
No. Keep the image, the link and screenshots of where it was posted, with dates. We can also guide you on filing a complaint on the national cyber crime portal.
Is metadata always available?
Social media and messaging apps usually strip metadata. We use other techniques when it is missing, and we will explain what could and could not be established.
Is my case kept confidential?
Yes. Your identity, the details you share and our findings are kept private and are released only to you or to whomever you direct in writing.
